Apiece

Who owes whom, worked out to the cent.

Apiece keeps a running tab with the people you share costs with: the rent, the groceries, last night's dinner, a week away. Add what you paid and everyone sees where they stand.

Free. Runs in your browser, and you can add it to your home screen.

One bill, and everyone picks what they had.

Add the receipt once. Everyone opens it on their own phone at the table and taps their items. Shared plates are split between whoever had them, and you see each other's picks as they happen.

You're picking as Jay. Tap anyone to pick as them.

Jay$61.50
David$65.50
Aly$55.50
Jacob$37.50

$18.00 still to pick

Or start from a screenshot.

Screenshot the purchase in your banking app, or photograph the receipt, and Apiece fills in the expense: the amount, the place, the date. Anything it isn't sure about is marked for you to check before it's saved.

Paying back is one tap.

When it's time to square up, the person paying sees your PayID and the exact amount, each with a Copy button. Once the money's sent, they mark it as paid and you're both back to zero.

And the rest.

Any size of group

Two of you, a household, or ten people on a trip. A group shows each person's balance and the fewest payments that square everyone up.

People who haven't joined yet

Add someone by name and split with them straight away. When they join with your link or code, they take over their place in the group.

Other currencies

Add an expense in yen or rupiah. The rate is fixed on the day you add it, so nobody ends up owing a few cents when it moves.

Nothing is lost

Every change and every delete is kept, so any figure can be traced back to what made it.

No ads, no tracking

I made Apiece to split costs with my mates without the clutter of the apps I'd been using. It's free while it's small, and if it ever costs anything you'll be asked first.
